It's funny to watch different personalities respond, some people that might start a bit
sceptical, get right into it and others are quite extroverted and they're into it from
the beginning. It's fantastic! It's a good innovative idea!
I think the laughter session was really good. I attended a more executive type session yesterday
- they got a lot out of it. [Ed Note: I ran a separate session tailored to the executive
on the previous day]. I think you get a bit of variety from the people's response's in
terms of the people that attend, but certainly everyone gets something out of it and it's
something new for them and they find it's quite a useful exercise.
How do you feel afterwards? Really good! Invigorated!
For people don't know -- what happens in one? Basically, the first part of the session is
informative ... so there's a bit information that goes to some of the psychology behind
laughter and why it's beneficial and some of the, I guess, physical advantages as well
which is great, because is sets the scene and then there's the techniques that actually
give you a go and demonstrate how that works. A bit quirky techniques, people like it, you
know, generally. "... It gives you a different method for achieving
stress relief - people should give it a go" It's funny to watch different personalities

Good! Good! I actually feel good. You know I feel positive. I think some of those techniques
you can probably take away and use when you're actually at home or before you go home, just
to sort of prop yourself up a bit and release some of those endorphins.
Would you recommend laughter sessions for any workplaces that are a bit apprehensive
about the whole thing? Definitely! I think that it's a bit left-off-centre;
it's a bit left field and I certainly think that it opens your mind a bit, and it gives
you a bit of a different method for achieving some of the stress relief and people should
give it a go.
