I can access records of the children's learning through the 'Learner Tracker Data'
which is a link on the front page of the LNI screen, you can see it here.
When I click on the link it brings me up all of the courses that I have been setting for the children
and within all of the courses you can see where the content is being viewed who is online and what they have viewed.
So, if I take this one, for example,
I have an option of looking through 'Who's viewed it' 'What they have looked at'
and even if boys or girls have looked at it.
When I click on next, when I view 'By content'
I have a number of options which I can view.
One of them will be as a graph.
The graph is very interesting (as I take it up here)
For this course, alone, you can see the interest generated on the average times of visits during the time of the course being up.
The children were actually visiting their homework in the traditional time when children don't.
Between 3 O'clock and 5 O'clock
at that crucial period of time when they go home.
Instead of throwing the schoolbags down and not being interested they were getting home and getting straight on to the computer.
This indicates some visits over lunch-times
and this indicates a visit over break time
for those children who maybe didn't have the opportunity to get on to the computer at home
I provide the opportunity for them to do it in school.
But to see such eagerness to get on to the course to see what the homework is is excellent.
