Sweet Potato Protein Smoothie Recipe - Vegan Vegetarian Shake
Hey my Sweet Vs, it's The Sweetest Vegan here. Today on the show we will be replacing the sweet potato
biscuits recipe in Paula Deen's Southern Cooking Bible with a Sweet Potato Smoothie.
Now all I did before this was boil the sweet potato for about 30 minutes, peel it, and then I pushed it through a strainer
to get rid of the strings. Now I am going to add in Perfect Fit Protein to the blender, and this is really easy and simple
recipe. You just dump everything in. So I have my protein powder, I am going to add a dash of cinnamon,
and this is going to be like a Sweet Potato Pie. So you know, go for it. Cinnamon, Nutmeg, whatever you got.
Then I am going to add in a banana, almond milk, two cups of almond milk. Then I am going to blend.
And I'm not going to be shy with my blending time. All that powder needs a chance to dissolve
All your sweet potatoes need a chance to get in good with the bananas. And just let it all settle together really well.
Scrap down the sides, blend it up, and it will come out nice and silky, like mine did. My Grandma had these cute little cups
from Ikea and if I were blindfolded and tasted this, I would think peach and banana smoothie.
But it did taste like a sweet potato pie and I have no complaints. That is it for today. Bye.
