Dear Guy Who Wants Me to Stop Talking about Feminism

When I restarted this YouTube channel back in September after I'd been gone for something like two years I opened with the joke referencing the fact that many people on YouTube like calling outspoken women *** and any men who defend outspoken women are manginas. Most people got the joke and and went on to watch the rest the video however there were many angry tears shed that day a lot of people had trouble with the idea that I would speak about the harassment I receive in a video that would go on to be about fundraising for Cancer Research these people wanted me to go back to talking about science and skepticism as though the previous few years old nonstop *** threats and death threats and slurs had never even happened and I totally understand that sentiment because it is after all a perfectly human sentiment we want our bacon but we don't want to think about the pig getting slaughtered. We want cheap jeans but we don't think about the seamstress trapped in a collapsed factory in Bangladesh and we want women to educate entertain and even titillate us but we don't wanna know what they go through to do that we don't want to hear about be anti-depressants they go on or the armed guards they hire or all the times that they need to take a break from the public eye just to get their *** together as bad as it is to wake up every day and have to sift through dozens of messages telling me that I am subhuman, that I deserve to be *** that I'm fat and ugly and a prude and a *** and as bad as the people are who are sending those messages I'd say that to me the people who tell me to stop talking about my harassment are a thousand times worse. That's right you, liberal intellectual guy who has a healthy interest in science and skepticism but who finds feminism distasteful would rather not hear about it. You are worse than *** threats because the *** threats are what they are they're horrible and the people who send them are horrible daily too awful lives and so they act now in of always and they probably deep down know that the world would be a better place without them but you new guy who just wants to hear about science and you don't know you're awful you think they you are just doing a good thing that you are trying to encourage me to you talk more about science and skepticism you think you're building bridges you think that was someone learns about the scientific method then it doesn't really matter if they call women cons you think if you ignore problem long enough it'll go away as opposed to the problem remaining in the women going away you think that my is sarcasm in feminism causes misogyny in the same way that birds flyin south for the winter causes the snow to come so this is a video that I hope will disabuse you of the notion that I will ever ever listen to you I'm gonna go on talking about the things that I wanna talk about on this YouTube channel whether that be recent science news or something hilarious about Bigfoot or video games or phase wanna make a joke about why I took two years away from you too why I disabled comment notifications why I rarely risk reader respond to any comments whyyy rarely follow any other hey youtube atheists and skeptics anymore because I don't do these videos 30 I do these videos for me and four anybody else who shares my values I do them for the people over on Peachtree on who are pledge in their hard-earned money because they like what i'm talking about. so much or because they really like my limerick San ms Payne Giants and really who could blame them because they're fantastic in fact if I get just a few more pledges over on Peachtree on will reach the level where I'll be able to start doing two videos per week and if that happens I promise you that at least one of those videos every week will be focused on feminism or misandry or Peter or were basically whatever I want to talk about because its money it's made to channel but even if Petri on folds tomorrow and I lose all that support I'm going to continue speaking out about feminism and harassment of women online why because it pisses you off and maybe if I speak out about it enough wanna view out there will realize that this is a serious problem and maybe you will stop being pissed off at me and start being pissed off at the people who are actually making life miserable for women online maybe you'll realize that what happens to me online isn't just 8 single one of occurrence never to be seen again what happens to me is just one example I love a widespread phenomenon that touches on any woman who is attempting to speak out and have a boy's any woman who puts herself forward is at risk I loved the scene kinda abuse that I get so keep that in mind the next time you leave a comment on one of my videos saying that I should stop talking about harassment and go back to just talking about science you've probably just convince me that I need to talk about that even more the for the for the the No a the the more and the a the for and
