Hi, I'm Veronica Baragas, with mywigglesand giggles.com, and I'm going to show you how
to put a baby to sleep. You know, once you've gotten your routine down and you've gone through
all the steps to put your baby to sleep, I would suggest maybe holding onto them, snuggling
with them a little bit; maybe humming a little song, and make sure that you have everything
clear out of the crib; that there's nothing around that you can, that the babies can possibly
pull in to suffocate or whatnot. Depending on what it is that you put your baby to sleep
in, I would use just those items; whether it be, you know, a blanket, a pillow, a lovey,
a bear, a whatnot, and I would generally put them to sleep first on their back. You you
know, it's only common that they're going to roll around and move on their tummy, but
I would let them do that naturally. So, when I'm first starting out for your baby you'd
definitely put them to sleep on their back, and you know, definitely continue to soothe
them, or you know, stay around until you think that they're fully asleep. So it's be really
simple, you know? You just make sure that your crib is safe, and when you put them down
you lay them on their back. So, it's the way you put them to sleep.
