Jeffrey C.: Third party insurance and comprehensive insurance, what's the difference? Let me start
with comprehensive. Comprehensive is what we call..., another term that we use here
is bumper-to-bumper policy cover. Jess S.: In case of any accident, if it is
your fault, insurance company will be liable for your car and the third party car as well.
Pinkey T.: Comprehensive means full policy. It will cover your car totally in case of
any damage whether it's your fault or not, and it will also cover the driver-passenger
cover, so the driver and passenger will be secured in case of any partial disability
there will be a cover of at least 200,000 dirhams each head. So, that's fully secured.
On the other side, you'll have Oman covering comprehensive. You can take your car to Oman
and you'll have a towing, 24-hours roadside assistance card. So in any case of roadside
assistance you need in the future, you can call in that number which is usually not there
in the third party until unless with some few insurance company.
Jeffrey C.: You'll be rest assured that everyone will be covered, your car and also the person,
especially. Deng E.: Of course, if you have only a third
party insurance, then the liability of the insurance company is only against the other
party, other person, other bodily injury in case of accident. Any damage with your car,
the insurance company will not be liable of that, then you have to pay for it. You have
to shoulder the expenses if there will be in case of accident.
Pinkey T.: Let's say if you are driving on a road and you hit another car, that other
car will be protected. But the damage, whatever cost incurred for your car, that you have
to fully pay. Jess S.: I do recommend comprehensive all
the time, but of course if the car is like more than ten years old, it's not possible
to give comprehensive. Pinkey T.: There's very little difference
between the comprehensive and third party insurance premium also. It's not much, so
it's better to go with comprehensive rather than third party and we recommend the client
to take comprehensive as much as possible.
Where are AFIA and InsuranceMarket located? Arsalan N.: It is located in a very prime
location and customers can easily access this place.
Mark L.: Basically we are right next to Karama Metro Station, so very accessible.
Jeffrey C.: Along Trade Center, Bojuma road. Deng E.: You will easily see our building
which is just in the corner of the Metro Station, Kahnu Group building; we are on the third
floor. Jeffrey C.: Our room, 301-302, and yes very
easy location. Shalni B.: If you like to have coffee at our
place, you can always come in and meet our insurance advisors. So yeah, you can come
in if you like.
