Hi everyone! It’s Katie Humphrey. We’re here with Day 72 of 90 Days to Freedom. Every
day for 90 days, I’m giving you my personal tips and strategies that I used to holistically
reverse my symptoms with polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS). These are the same tips and
strategies that you can use to achieve abundant health and excellence in other areas of your
life.
So here’s the deal. My mother-in-law is here for the weekend. I’m really excited.
She, my husband and I are all just gonna have a great night tonight. I actually created
a video earlier today and it didn’t end up uploading. It tends to happen with technology.
Things break down and don’t work. So I’m gonna make this video very short but I still
wanna give you the gist of what I’m trying to really convey to you today. It’s really
important. Yesterday we talked about being intentional and I will make this very brief.
We talked about why being intentional is so important because it goes back to the old
Zig Ziglar thing. “If you aim at nothing, you’re gonna get it everytime.” Right?
Being intentional, being specific about, what it is that you want in different areas of
your life, you’re gonna always know whether you’re moving closer toward your goals or
farther away from them.
So Michelle, one of our FreedomFromPCOS coach has commented on FreedomFromPCOS Facebook
fan page and I’m not trying to embarrass her. I just wanted to make a couple of points
about what she wrote and she was just commenting on the video yesterday. She said I’m being
really intentional. She named a few things that she wants in her life. But one of them
she wants to wear her favorite pair of black jeans. She wants to feel good in them. That
is really specific! She is going to intentionally do everything she can to move toward that
goal. So Michelle didn’t just say, “Oh, I wanna lose weight.” “I wanna feel better
in my skin.” “I wanna be healthy.” Everyone wants to be healthy. Everyone wants to lose
weight. She specifically said what it is that she wants and it is something that resonates
with her very much. It’s something that means something to her very much on a deeper,
a more emotional level. So what I’m saying to you is that I want you to take those things
that you took the time to be intentional about that you want in your life. Pick a couple
of different areas of your life. Then what I want you to start doing is every single
day when you wake up in the morning and before you go to bed at night I want you to meditate
on those things. I want you to think about those things. Let’s just take Michelle’s
wanting to wear her favorite pair of black jeans and feel good in them. I want her every
single day when she first wakes up and before she goes to bed to think about how good she
feels on those jeans. I want her to envision herself on those jeans. How that feels. How
happy she is. How much she’s rejoicing. How good she feels. How much she deserves
it. Every morning when she wakes up and every night before she goes into bed I want her
to think on that. And after a while like I’ve said in other videos it becomes automated.
Your brain starts to become convinced that this thing has taken place.
