So now we are going to walk our 7th chord and that starts on B flat so as we walk from
B flat to B flat we have B flat, C, B, D, E flat, F, G, A flat, B or one, two, three,
four, five, six, flat seven, one and we'll talk about that more in the next series. We
want to start walking this. This is our seventh scale and F flat seven in there. It starts
our with B flat, our fifth note of the scale. One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, one.
You notice how the seven is not right next to the one we have two notes and that is a
good chromatic note to put in there for your bebop line. One, seven, flat seven, six, five,
four, three, two, one.
You can go through and start getting yourself familiar with your B flat seven scale and
again it is all using the same scale pattern that we have looked at before and getting
it really under your fingers and memorized.
