Bulgaria Increases Anti - Terrorist measures

The Ministry of Interior has posted a police officer on each metro station in the country today. The Minister of Interior has announced that the security level has been increased to maximum. Police officers will be present at each bus station, train station, as well as airports in the country. The potential danger of terrorist attacks in our country continues to exist. The measures taken to ensure order are within normal limits. These measures cannot go deep into the processes. According to Kirov, there are too many unintegrated minorities in EU countries. And that is precisely where terrorist threats come from. According to Nikolay Radulov, however, the danger is yet to penetrate our borders. Jihadists move the battlefield from Syria to Europe. In Syria, at least, the fronts are clear. We know whom to bomb. Who do we bomb here? Ourselves? Both security experts claim that the most responsible task lays in the hands of the intelligence services. A large number of Balkan citizens fight for ISIS. A part of them will inevitably return to their birth places. What will happen is a composite between highly organized crime and terrorism. The experts also remind us that while all security services work in accordance with laws and orders, terrorists are unrestricted by such limitations and are able to regroup much faster. One more clarification for people living in Sofia - tonight, after midnight, when the metro concludes its regular courses, the Ministry of Interior will carry out an exercise on one of the stations in order to prepare against a potential terrorist threat. The firefighter and first responder services will also take part in this exercise. The region will be closed off, so the Ministry of Interior asks for understanding from the citizens, and forewarns them not mistake the excercise with an actual attack.
