Alexander Rybak, Bettan & Didrik Solli - Tangen. vestfold tv, 11.05.2012

The summer is on its way, even if it doesn't feel like that right now. Summer in Vestfold equals summer show. Among those who will do shows are Bettan, Alexander and Didrik. We will meet them now. R: What can the audience expect of your summer show? B: There will be a lot of joy. There will be a lot of humour. There will be beautiful music. There will be funny music. There will be tears - and laughter. I think that is a nice summary of what we will present. D: We are a gang of rascals. And I will try to add a bit of sophisticated music, in addition to what Alexander and Bettan have done earlier. R: How is it for you to approach those two? We know that the two of them are pretty much welded together from before. D: It is easy to approach those two. When we have had meetings and planned the music, and so on, one feels like a part of the family at once, so that is not a problem. R: You and Alexander have had a few shows together earlier. How is it to have Didrik in on this? B: It is great, indeed. It's the last thing that was missing to make a complete show, with Rybak's insanely good classical violin, a soprano and singer, and then a more opera-like voice. We can do so many great things, and so much fun. He [Didrik] is also a great boy. Both guys are full of fun, good mood, good at what they do and professional. I'm excited as a child! It will be so fun! A: We are very prepared and that is very nice! Because sometimes you have a schedule, and then you suddenly realize you have a show in 2 days, and you have to hurry up and think of something to do. We are so excited about this, so we wish to start the preparations as soon as possible. There are still 2 months to go, and already we have most of the program. That is wonderful. R: You are 3 artists who have tight ties to Melodi Grand Prix (ESC) in most people's minds. Will the music be characterized by that? D: It will not be an ESC show, so those who come for that, will be disappointed. But, of course, we have to touch it. That is impossible to avoid, but most of the show will be about a lot of other stuff. A: I will show a lot of my violin skills. At the same time I know that a lot of children will come - which I'm very happy about – and therefore there will be pop for the children, and humour so that means there will be autograph writing afterwards. You know. R: It will be the full package? A: Yes, and when there is autograph signing afterwards it's a sign the concert went well. R: When there is a press conference, there are of course, a lot who want a piece of the artists. If you want more: the show will start July 5th. Now we have to move on. We will be back soon!
