Hi. My name is Robert Stewart. I'm with Hill13.com. Before we talk about any of the fun stuff:
the guns, the paint, the strategy, and the game play; we're going to talk about the first
and foremost important element in paintball. And that is the mask. Any reputable field
you go to, you're going to be required to wear a mask that has full facial protection,
which means the front of your face and your ears. It must be ASTM certified, which is
the American Society of Testing and Materials. That is so you can be safe and sure that if
you're struck by a paintball traveling at 300 feet per second, the goggles don't break
and injure your eye. If you don't wear proper safety gear playing paintball, it's a little
bit like crossing a crowded freeway with your eyes closed. It's not really a question of
if you'll get hurt, but when you'll get hurt.
