Tokyo Police Club is a band that I know for a couple of years now. They've been here in 2007... ... it was a very nice show. A friend of mine was there... ... liked it very much and told me about it. After that I've been waiting for them to come back. I've been listening to their music since 2008... ... and I've been following their evolution... ... since their first EP. In the beginning they had a heavier and more authentic style... ... and now they’re doing stuff like everybody else. They’re more mature now, that’s good. You can see that they mix electronic, math-rock... ... many influences that they bring to pop. Really fast, really intense and really great. Here it’s probably going to be better because I can get closer... ... a private party is better because in a big festival you can't see... ... and I like to see they playing while I'm listening. Tokyo Police Club is a young band, a cool band, an authentic band... ... that is completely tuned to Jack Daniel’s brand values.
