This short video will show you how to find articles in Scientific American Mind.
Start from the link shown below to go to Scientific American page in Ebsco’s Psychology database.
To search for articles click the “Search within the Publication” Link at the upper right.
When the search box appears you need to click in the box and type the word AND followed by your topic. Click search to display the list of articles.
32 articles were found all in Scientific American Mind. You can scroll through the list for one that works for you.
Click the article title to read the abstract to see if it is interesting. The rest of the article follows below.
If you like the article be sure to keep it by emailing it to yourself. When you do you’ll also be able to send the APA citation. Use any email that you read regularly.
Followed by a subject and some comments. Don’t forget to get the APA Citation. Click send.
You can also click to browse issues by clicking on the year link and then into a specific issue.
The articles are listed in page order starting with page 1.
You’ll need to go to the second or third page to get to the longer articles that would be appropriate for this assignment.
When you find an article you like click the title to get to the abstract.
