Fashion Sense - Matalan school uniforms - Put to the test

It's back to school time. But are we spending too much on our children's uniforms? Matalan have asked me to put their new school range to the test, to see what parents really think. So I've enlisted the help of Purley infant's school who have been putting the clothes through their paces. Let's see how they got on. So while they are having fun, it's time to meet the parents. I guess the most important aspect of this uniform is value for money, and I guess quality would be the second. I need something that is just easy, you can just sort of like wash it, put it in the tumble dryer, get it out, put it on her, take her to school. I've got two boys so the uniform gets damaged on a daily basis. When I buy school uniforms I do worry about colour fade, going out of shape, how long it's going to last. Just finding something that's reasonable to buy that you can buy quite a lot of. So that you have a got a spare pair of trousers for every day, a shirt for every day. Our families have been testing Matalan's uniforms everyday over the last week to see what they think. I do love the little scalloped edges; I think it's really sweet. I've definitely found the quality better than I expected to for the price. They washed well, they tumble dried well, they didn't need much ironing. The shirts are my favourite piece of clothing. It dried well and I just had to do a little bit of ironing, so the shirt was perfect. The boys enjoyed wearing it and trying it, getting it as dirty as possible so it has been well road tested. I've bought Matalan uniforms before and I do really like Matalan because they do tend to last. Compared to what I usually spend, Matalan uniforms are the perfect price for me. I would defiantly shop at Matalan again, certainly for school uniforms. I've been really pleased with the quality of the products, and the fact that you can buy them online I think is a real advantage. But the big question is, did Matalan's uniforms pass the test?
