Our next style of openings is a Pierrot opening. I think of this kind of like thinking about
a clown suit, or almost Elizabethan with its points; only Elizabethan would be obviously
up higher. But this is another thing that is technical. It's called a Pierrot. It's
a style. It has a band. And then it has the actual collar part of it in pointy little
accordion type pleating detail. And this can become something that you make into, say,
an entire cape. That's something that clicks in my head when I look at this and think:
"okay, I'm not going to wear a clown suit, or accordion or Elizabethan or whatever; that's
not what I'm going to design." But I think how can I take this and make it my own. And
what I would do is make this into an accordion style, entire garment. Like exaggerate every
aspect of it and then make your accordion pleats. And have it just be a draped cape.
