My Netball hero is my mum. She is one of the most incredible people that I've ever met.
Mum was an Olympic swimmer, being an athlete herself she was able to give me so much emotional
support. I think I do what most mums do, give them
every opportunity. Kim has drive, just a natural at everything. My relationship with Kim is
wonderful. I follow her around to all her games and I think I'm very lucky.
The Netball community is absolutely amazing, everyone is just so friendly. Everyone has
each other's best interests at heart, it's a very inclusive sport and the umpires, the
volunteers, the parents, the teachers that coach the kids, they are the unsung heroes
and a lot of the time they don't get that recognition.
Recognising those people is really important and it's a great way to show you that really
care and you're really thanking them for all the great things they've done for you.
