Blind Bags - Pearlies - Mindphlux

It's pretty amazing to find out that you can earn just as much money with Blind Bags than with clothes nowadays. My sister sent me a package containing six different blind bags - which means I'll have a lot to do in the days ahead - and all of them were bought from Kik. If you don't know Kik ... well, they import cheap clothes from China and sell them for peanuts. Apparently, they now also import blind bags from china and sell them for a little more than peanuts, like for example "Pearlies". Yep, their blind bags tend to be rather obscure. "200 to collect" Wow. Even "200+" And they have a "Special Golden Edition". But what are "Pearlies"? Yeah ... some kind of babies? Something in capsules? From the bottom of the sea? Whatever the hell ... What's inside "Pearlies" ... a whole three figurines, well, considering there are "200 to collect" that's a good quota. Ah, and three "Pearlies", they look like these stupid capsules from Star Wars Pods. Three stickers, because three ... figurines, and a brochure, because we need to know what else to waste our money on. I'm gonna skip the small print because it's just way too much. These blind bags are made by Dracco like so many others before. Oh "Pearlies", you are so damn ugly. Let's take a look ... oh, it can be ripped open. Oh! Ah yeah, alright. You didn't say they'd be inside the capsules. But I guess that's the point, they are in pearls. Now we get to the bottom of this. And here's a sticker, with extremely simple artwork. Oh man! That's pretty bad. "Wiggly", ugh! Oh God, I'm getting the shivers already. And here we have the "Pearlies collection". "All Pearlies are living inside of a colorful pearl." "In this collection, you can find them in pink, purple, blue," "orange and red.", basically all the colors of the rainbow. And at least two of them are girl's colors. How nice! "Find us!" "Special gold edition" Well ... doesn't look like I found one. So, there are ... how are that 200? Ah, let me guess, there are like ten or so in four colors each or something. Disgusting. What do we have here ... ah, a little story as well. "Every morning at sunset, when the sun sends its warm" " rays across the beach ..." (murmurs) Words, bla. Good Lord. Do not want! Okay, let's take a look. Let me open this pearl. Ugh, oh man, these are really cheap rubber ... Bad paint job as well. Hmm, feels just like ... Jell-o. Well, great job. Pretty absurd. Ah, a little princess, how cute! A princess sticking out her tongue? That's no behaviour for a princess! Aha ... and why are they all inside a pearl? And a ... fish ... okay ... wearing a chef's hat? What the hell? Nonsense. Did I miss something? Wait a second ... "200 pieces to collect. Play with us!" How? Ah, you can put them on a pen. Makes kind of sense, although I wouldn't know what pen they'd fit on, not a ball pen at least. Probably a pencil. "Tweezers with light" What for, I have hands. "As jewelry" Ha, certainly not! And a playset, but I don't think I'll ask my sister to buy this stuff for me. I can already feel the odd looks when I'd put that one up here. Wonderful. I have another one of them, so let's see if we can find a golden one, shall we? There! Or do we get the next ... Hmm ... doh. They are almost the same! Indeed they are! Yeah, we know him, don't we? That's the fish with the chef's hat. They are not all identical. Another princess, oh, it's princess overkill. With a ... good Lord, what's with her face? Oh no, she looks kind of bewildered. And her crown's a bit lopsided. And she's made of rubber, and ... Wow. And ... Baby with pacifier. I guess they're quite common. Great. Any difference? No sir, not at all! Oh Pearlies, you kind of disappoint. Of course they already look crap from the packaging, but ... well. It all looks so promising and in the end, what's left is just utter rubbish. What do I expect? I'm not three years old. Maybe they find it totally cool. I certainly don't. See you next time!
