WWE News - Big Show believes Braun Strowman can become a WWE all-time great
Throughout WWE history, there have been many superstars that have completely revolutionized the business and have become all-time greats in the process. These superstars are household names like Hulk Hogan, The Undertaker, Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Rock, and John Cena.
Today, we are starting to see some superstars on the Monday Night Raw and SmackDown Live rosters that have the potential to be in this category as well.
Superstars like Roman Reigns, AJ Styles, Seth Rollins, Kevin Owens, The Miz, Charlotte Flair, and Sasha Banks.
One superstar that has gone from a nobody to main event superstar in a very short amount of time is Braun Strowman, with last year arguably being a breakout year for the Raw star.
In just his short amount of time in the main event scene, many believe hell be involved in the main title picture in the years to come.
Big Show spoke recently on the With Spandex Podcast, via Uproxx, about several different topics including The Monster Among Men, who he faced several times during his breakout year in 2017.
It was here he said he believes Strowman could become an all-time great in the WWE. The Worlds Largest Athlete said: I think so. As long as he stays healthy, hes just got too much to offer.
Hes got the right attitude, hes got the right intensity and hunger for it, and he understands theres times to be a monster, and theres also times to make other guys look good.
You can run out there and make yourself look good all day thats not what our business is about.
Our business is about making … Ive always had a standard philosophy its: Get the match over, get your opponent over, then get yourself over, if you can do those three things in that order youll have a long career.
Thats what youre here for. Youre here to entertain our fans, give our fans the best competition, the best product possible.
And also keep yourself in this business for as long as possible where youre dependable, you bring something unique to the table in any situation youre in, whether youre wrestling a guy thats 52 or youre wrestling another guy seven [feet tall].
Versatility and dependability is the key.
I think Brauns definitely one of those guys that can take that and go forward with it.Strowman will be part of the triple threat for the Universal Championship at the Royal Rumble at the end of the month against Brock Lesnar and Kane.
This will be the third time he has been in a Universal title match since SummerSlam last year.
The fact hes already been part of many main title matches in WWE in such a short amount of time goes to show how much faith the company has in him and the high-quality superstar he is.
The stage is set for him to become an all-time great, he just needs to grab the brass ring.
