What you can do is try to change the gain, try to change the ratio to around four. Four is always a good starting point when using compression. Now compression, what it's going to do when it reaches a certain threshold, it's going to reduce it by a certain ratio that you choose. Now, this threshold is also being chosen by you with this threshold button right here. So whenever the signal goes below that, above that, you're going to actually see gain reduction go down. So when you have this track, by turning down the threshold, you can actually see where the track's being effected. You can also change the attack and the release to mold the compression around the track. This is going to help a lot and make your track really easy to use, or your track really easy to listen to by taking the softer parts and making them level with the loudest parts.
