- Hi, Jakob, Unisport WebTV, -
- And today we are at Unisport KeeperCamp at the pitches of Aarhus Fremad, -
- here, more than 80 eager goalkeepers are being coached by Lars Høgh and his skilled team, -
- and we are taking a close look on how this event is going to happen. -
- Follow me. -
- Keeper Camp is a product that I have never seen before actually, -
- we are almost 100 goalkeepers present, -
- which all can be at one football pitch, and that gives an intimate atmosphere, -
- we are a group of very skilled coaches,-
- and I am not talking about myself, i'm refering to the team that are here, -
- that have been specially selected, and furthermore they have a lot of assistants among them, around 4-5 per station -
- and we have around 5-6 stations. -
- The cool thing is that we have elite goalkeepers,-
- and we have newly starters, -
- and they are coping very well together, -
- because we are striving towards making each keeper a little bit better at this camp, -
- they shall leave this with greater selfasteem and a couple of things to continue working with in their clubs, -
- so they are hopefully coming even better back to their clubs. -
- Because one thing is talent, but the biggest part is the hard work that lies underneat, -
- if you are using the right tools, you can go extremely far as a keeper. -
- And they are working hard today. -
- They are working really hard and stills it's a lot of fun. -
- Wow, nice save, did we get that on camera? -
- Boys, when you make it as professional goalkeepers, where are you going to play then? -
- United, United, Dortmund, Liverpool, Liverpool, Esbjerg, United, Esbjerg, Barcelona, Barcelona, Liverpool, Brøndby. -
- Emeka we are seing a lot of keepers here today that are training to be as good as possible,-
- and if things work out, some of them are going to make it as professionals, -
- you have tried that, what are you going to recommend young goalkeepers in order to become professionals? -
- They should go to Unisports KeeperCamp, -
- and what they are learning here, is that we put a lot of efford into each exercise that we are doing.,-
- these exercises are also being used at a higher level, and if you want to become a good goalkeeper you have to keep repeating, -
- it's not going to do any good to do it a hundred times, you have to do it onehundredthousind times to become good. -
- So very briefly, what is the best advice you can give to a young keeper hoping to becoming a professional?-
- Work really hard every day, -
- I think KeeperCamp is cool because it's improves my goalkeeper skills, -
- It's great to be here because you get a lot of new friends and everything is fun, -
- We are learning a lot, and at the same time it's funny, there is a lot of humor involved, -
- there is both room to be serious and to have fun, -
- Do you feel that you have become a better goalkeeper? -
- Yes, i really do. I knew many of the exercises beforehand but I feel like I have become better. -
- When you are going to make it as professional goalkeepers, where are you going to play? -
- I don't know yet. They have to come and ask. -
- It was really great, you get a lot of new friends, and it was a lot of fun. -
- Which exercise did you prefer? -
- There were a lot of fun excersices but i have to say 'the angle' -
- 'The angle'? Yes, I liked that a lot, -
- They have all been great, -
- I think that the one in the middle, 'keeper war', have been the most fun, -
- Wasn't it the ballcanon? Yes, the ballcanon, -
- that one is always fun to do. -
- It must have been the one where you had to do TV-saves, -
- Was that the one where you had to hang far out? Yes, it was. -
- Has it been fun being here today at Unisport KeeperCamp? YES! -
- What has it been like to have your son here at KeeperCamp? -
- It has been really great, he was also a part last year, we come from Sealand, and we have taken the trip here, -
- and he have been really glad to participate, and he came home yesterday and was a bit tired, but it had been really good. -
- An applause for you. Good job! -
- This was Unisport KeeperCamp 2013. -
- We have seen a lot of great saves in the corner, -
- parades with the feet, and heard a lot of good tips and techniques from Lars Høgh and his team. -
- And actually we have also taken a lot of great pictures from this event, -
- and you can find them by clicking here and go directly to our big Facebook-gallery. -
- Deciding from the happy look on the goalkeepers faces when they left here, -
- it has been a really good day. -
- And I personally think that it has been. -
