These are the instructions for an origami car.
The first step for the origami car, get a sheet of paper and start with the white side
up. What we're going to do is we're going to fold the bottom edge up to the top edge,
and this is a book fold. Make sure that it's nice and lined up so that there's no extra
white showing. Get each of those to line up as nice as you can and then make a good crease,
and then open it up.
Next, what we're going to do is we're going to do two cupboard folds. And a good way to
do this is to think of you're taking this outside edge into the middle, but we're actually
going to go about halfway, just like this. So you see how it's nice and it's lined up,
it's equal, it's parallel with this line right here, but go about halfway up.
Next, fold this back in half so it comes up to here. And then so we can make the two sides
equal, take this white section and fold that down over the top of the first half. And then
when you open that up and bring this up we can then use that crease, and we fold this
in half again and these two sides, they will now be equal, just like that. Open this back
up. You have both of those two sides.
And we're going to fold this corner down. And you're going to do this on all four corners.
These are going to be the wheels of the vehicle, so try and fold them so they come straight
down. And then do that on the front and the back. We're going all the way up to that point,
like that. And then just so that they're not pointy wheels, we're just going to make a
tiny little triangle fold right there and a tiny little triangle fold right there. That'll
keep them a little bit more round. Then we're going to rotate it over and do the same thing
on the other side. So go ahead and fold this down to make another wheel and put a tiny
triangle right there. Then fold this one down and fold up a little triangle right there.
Next, we're going to fold the entire thing in half like that. And then choose one of
the sides to be the front and one side to be the back, and go ahead and fold this triangle
point, fold it backwards so that you have a windshield. So go ahead and fold it behind
so you can't see it.
And that is the finished origami car.
