Disability Rights New Jersey (computer voice)
Hi. I’m Curtis Edmonds with Disability Rights New Jersey at the Assistive Technology Advocacy Center.
What we’re showing today is a switch. It can be used to operate many different types of
toys and games that are switch-operated. This particular switch
has a slightly different thing going for it (computer tones in background)
It has a “koosh” on it. A “koosh” is just a little rubber ball with little rubber threads
When you push it
And you don’t have anything attached to it
(computer tones)
It vibrates and plays a little song
And its lights light up.
This could be helpful for people with autism with sensory integration
And it could be also helpful for people who want a little bit of variety in their switches.
