>> Hi, my name is Susan Alman. I'm at the University of Pittsburgh in the School of Information Sciences. I've been teaching online for a number of years and I have set up some ground rules at the beginning of every course. In order to cut down on the amount of email, some people like to just ask their questions in email. I tell them that all email will be cut and pasted into a discussion board that everyone can see. So, that they will not get a personal response. I'll take out their names, any information that will identify who they are, they should be anonymous. But all questions need to go to the discussion board. I also say it's okay whoever gets there first to answer it if they truly know the answer to that question. So, if I'm not there and somebody has a question, needs an answer, somebody else could write the answer. So I that helps you.
