Hello my name is Frank Folino
I am the associate director for the Toronto International Deaf Film & Arts Festival.
Wow! Only 6 weeks left until our festival on May 9th-12th, 2013.
Time sure flies!
We at TIDFAF wanted to let you know about our official festival hotel,
the Holiday Inn Bloor and Yorkville
They are offering a discounted rate for your stay during the festival!
If you are a filmaker, artist or just visiting the festival from outside of Toronto you can take advantage of this rate.
To do so, contact us at info@tidfaf.ca and we will respond with directions on how to go about booking your hotel stay.
Your hotel stay will be in a new room which includes: new beds, free wifi in all the rooms, a 27 inch flatscreen tv,
and the option to buy underground parking beneath the hotel.
Additionally, there is a pub right next door to the hotel called "The Fox and Fiddle"
Around the hotel there are many tourist sites you can visit east along Bloor St:
There is the University of Toronto, where you may visit a class.
The Bata Shoe Museum, The Royal Ontario Museum,
Yorkville shopping district where you can shop, find food, designer boutiques, parkettes and stores selling historical goods.
If you travel westward from the hotel you can find restaurants, pubs, bars, coffee shops and other stores which are open 24hrs.
There are many many places to go on Bloor Street. Then just around the corner at Bathurst is the Randolph Theatre where the festival is being held.
Your hotel is located right in the heart of downtown with many opportunities to experience different cultural foods, stores, coffee shops
cultural centres such as the Deaf culture centre.
You can check out the CN Tower, or a Blue Jays baseball game, a Maple Leafs hockey game, a Toronto Raptors basketball game,
or check out one of the many malls in the downtown core. There so much that Toronto has to offer!
If you want more information please contact us at info@tidfaf.ca.
We look forward to seeing you at the festival!
