Although it is well protected from outside - there is water inside - but no fish inside it o!
All attempts to prevent the water from entering is to no avail
This is my boys quarters...
All my personal aides living here have all gone to their villages - you can see their property inside the rooms all flooded with water
See the mobile station generator - is about to be covered with flood
Look at their security post - abandoned
Camera Man: Where is this that you are? Lady In Yellow: Its the Army mans house
Camera man: How did water get into this house? Lady: I don't know, the house we lived in fell so he asked us to come and stay at his place. So we moved our property here to stay since 3-4 days ago. But the water has entered here again...
What is your name? Lady: my name is Victoria
All the occupants are gone - if it continues like this - water will flow through the windows
It is 2 feet above the former highest level of flood in Nigeria but now all is vain
I will have to go back to the drawing board to start again
These are the kitchens, they are all gone - this is the level of water in the bedroom...

There's no where to go so you have to live with it - it's a question of time... see this leech!
They have removed the air-conditioner to avoid electric shock
You can see they are still enjoying DSTV
You can see how they protect their property and it will remain like this until the end of the flood
The flood will end, a conservative estimate, 3-4 weeks...

How did the water get into your house? Lady: While we were sleeping day before yesterday, the water entered the house and filled up the place and we are now running around. Yesterday we moved our children away.
Where did this water come from? Lady: The river o!
This sort of thing that you are seeing now, have you seen it before? Lady: We have never seen it, this is the first time we are seeing such a thing.
Does this happen every year? Lady: The water doesn't rise like this normally.
In your mind, what do you think caused it? Lady: In my thinking it is the oyinbo people that caused this. I would say they caused this because the water level didn't rise like this previously. Since after the civil war, we ha
What help do you want from local, state or federal govt? Lady: They should come and help me cos I am suffering. Look at my foot, its cutting. if there is any help they can provide let them provide it. The things I have used to beautify my house are spoilt
how do you now cook? Lady: Cooking is now a problem. We have put our things on top of tables. We now only "drink Garri". If we see water we drink Garri, we no longer cook any food. it keeps the hunger at bay till morning.
Thank you. What name are you called? Lady: Anichelunwa.
You can see the force of the flood's current so there's no way to block the water ...
You can see - the current is coming from both front and back so there's no remedy - if you block the back, the front continues...
... you can see - in precisely two levels of block - water will enter through the window.
We don't pray that this continues but if it continues for the next two weeks - they will have to evacuate the house
They are enjoying themselves - they have not seen this type of thing since they were born!
