And here's another little tip that will help too, is, everybody knows what a lint roller
is right? It's like this big roll of sticky. Gee, I wish I had one to show you, they kind
of look like this, but I didn't bring one today. Now I used to just always have one
of those because I've got a lot of animals, I've got cats and dogs, and I wear tuxedos
a lot, you know, black clothes, dog, cat hair on it, so it's good just to have one, you
know, to spruce it up, so I always kept one in my car. Well, one time, my table top, which
is made of felt, was kind of, you know, had fur and fuzz on it, so I used a lint roller
on that and just left it in my prop case and didn't think twice about it. And then, about
a week later I needed to make a note, and have basically a cheat sheet on stage, I usually
have it in my box for a special introduction for someone. I peeled off a layer of it, stuck
it face down in my prop box and wrote on the back of it, it kind of became like a big post
it note.
That is clever.
And I went, wow, you know what, this lint roller is like a little tool kit on a roll.
Because then you could use it in an emergency if you don't have duct tape, or you don't
have gaffer tape, it's just a quick little fix to stick things in place. You can write
notes on the back of it and stick it wherever you want. You can tear it down to smaller
sizes, so it's like, now, it's almost like my Purell, it's like, I've got my Purell,
I've got my lint roller, oh, I forgot my props, but I've got my other stuff so I'm good to
go.
