Oh, hi, I am Douglass Willott, on behalf of Village Expert and today we're going to talk
about coordinating your shirt with your tie. You can use ties effectively to pop out and
really be noticed in a way that is still very tasteful. A way that everyone in the room
is going to take note of you when they see you, but at the same time they are going to
go wow that's flashy, that's nice. For instance, this silver shirt here, it's kind of a basic
colored shirt, more of a grayish silver, but this tie on it really pops out in a nice way.
It's kind of a bold choice; it's a very simple blue tie. If I moved it over here to the blue
shirt, it looks very basic. It still coordinates but it's not as flashy, but on the gray shirt
it looks really nice. And that's partially because of the black other dots within this
tie, even though blue is the primary color you see, the blacks here kind of subtly coordinate
it, to make the blue pop out and stay connected. Likewise, the blue on red combo. Here we have
the diagonal striped shirt. What I've done is I've taken the orangish-red tie and put
it with it. This has a little bit of a pattern on it too, a nice texture on it, so this is
a good subtle texture that up close pops out on a shirt that has a little bit of an eye
catching look to it. This sort of way you're going to be noticed in the room, but at the
same time you'll be noticed in a very way, in a very good way. In a way that people say,
look at that guy, he's very stylish.
