Okay, so let's jump right into this. I'm starting out with the Jordana 12 Hr Made to Last Liquid
Eyeliner pencil in 05 Aqua Stone. It says that it's a liquid eyeliner pencil, but it's
really just a creamy eyeliner. I'm not really sure why they gave it that name -- probably
because it's super pigmented. I have all the other shades and they're really comparable
to the NYX slide on liner pencils. Now I'm going to take my Naked 3 brush that came in
the palette and I'm going into Prank from Urban Decay's Vice 2 palette - it's a dark
navy with sort of emerald/teal-ish shimmer. It's just really good to start out with a
dark blue to map out the shape you want the eyeshadow to be. It was really rounded on
Beyonces eyes, but also sort of pointed at the edge, so that's what I'm going for here.
You're just going to put that on the outer and inner corners and sort of connect it above
the light blue in the middle. This is going to look really ridiculous at first but that's
okay because we're going to keep adding more colors and blending it out and it's going
to look good by the end, I promise! Haha. I'm just packing that shadow on, really building
up the color, and trying to make sure that I don't get any of it on the lightest blue
shade because we want that to really stand out. By focusing the lightest color on the
middle of our lid, you're bringing all the attention to that space, so your eyes look
bigger and more round. You also want to try to blend in the dark blue with the edges of
the light blue just to make it more seamless, but you don't want to go in too far because
you want it to be rounded enough to where your eyes still look bigger. Now I'm going
into Madness from the Vice 2 - it's a lighter dark blue with shimmer - I just didn't like
how stark Prank looked totally on its own, but we will add more Prank later to deepen
it up again. Layering your eyeshadow just makes it look more flawless, more beautiful,
more dimensional so it's really a process of going back and forth, back and forth. I'm
going into Prank again, the darkest shade, and just blending out those edges using the
BH Cosmetics blending brush from the Pop Art set. I've talked about this brush before - the
set it so beautiful, the brushes work really well, and it's pretty cheap. So you can see
I'm just sort of sitting back for a moment and looking at the shape of the shadow and
making sure it's even. Now we're going to line our lower lashline with that same aqua
pencil - you don't want to get it on your waterline because, in the picture of Beyonce,
she has a lighter color there so we want to keep that blank for now, but the bottom of
her lashline is blue. So line it with the aqua color and then go back into your darker
blue shades and go over that. It's going to help set it and deepen it up. Her lower lashline
is darker and you could use a charcoal kind of shade, but I wanted to stick with the blue.
Now I'm using Betrayal, which is my faaaavorite color in the palette, and I'm just using that
as a transition color. The color that Beyonce has on her eyes is deeper, but I wanted to
go ahead and lay that down because I use Betrayal any time I get a chance. Now I'm taking a
deeper, berry, more red-based shade and we're blending that out on top of that. You're just
blending that across the top and to the side and almost but not quite connecting it to
the bottom. Now I'm going back in with Prank and deepening up my eyes just a little bit
more. Again, sitting back and making sure the eyes are even. Now I'm taking my cheap
eyelash curler from Walgreens - I think it was 99 cents - and I'm going in with the Cover
Gorl Clurmp....fhkjfhkgf....Cvergirl Clump Crusher mascara and then I'm also taking my
Jordana Best Lash Extreme mascara over top of that. I find that using two or three different
mascaras when I do my mascara is the best way to get it to look thick and long. I really
like the Clump Crusher so far, I've only used it a few times, but I really like the way
it separates my lashes. But I also feel like I have to go back in with a second mascara
to get the thickness I want. Aaaaand I'm just doing that for what seems like forever....and
now we're going to use this pale-flesh-tone shade - you can use white, but this one is
by Rimmel London in the color "nude" and I like it because it's creamier than my white
eyeliners and it's waterproof. I like to wait until I have all the mascara and shadow on
before I do this, or else it can get mixed on your waterline which takes away from the
brightness. So this is the look! Thank you for watching! Bye!
