Hey everybody so today I'm doing a makeup look
based on this hair flower/pin that I bought. As you can see
it's got some pretty orange pink yellow hues to it.
I'm gonna be basing it on the orange and pink so let's get started.
The first thing we're using is this NYC Smooth Skin Perfecting
Primer in the shade 684. So just take
the amount you think you need. I usually take a little bit more because I have oily skin.
I like to have a nice good base on there so just put that all over the
places you're gonna be putting on makeup.
Make sure you rub that in really well. All the way to the hair line,
on the eyes, down the neck and let that cool.
Next I'm using the Sonia Kashuk
Hidden Agenda Concealer Palette.
I will be using this green tinted shade, the lighter of the
shades, and then the powder. First we're starting off with the green tinted shade.
So, I'm just putting that in between my eyes where I have some redness from a birthmark,
on my cheeks.... and the other cheek,
around my nose and then just on any blemishes or
spots that you have. Now I'm taking the lighter shade just to cover up that green.
Putting that on my nose where I tend to have some redness,
and putting that right under the eyes. It's a little bit lighter than my skin
so that's gonna help brighten it up. I'm taking a fluffy
blending brush and I'm actually using the powder that's in the
kit there. I'm just setting the
concealer that I already put on the spots. Now
I'm using Almay Wake Up hydrating makeup powder foundation.
Shake that to get some in the top. I'm
using and ELF Powder brush. Just dipping that in there
and tapping it out cause it's a loose powder and just buffing that all
on the face. Make sure you get all the way back to the
ears and you buff it all the way down to the neck.
Just all over.
Get it up into the forehead and just, you know, use small circular
motions to buff that into the skin. Now I'm taking this kabuki brush. I believe
this is from Crown. The top is pink, it's not dirty.
Here's my "pan" ELF pressed powder. (haha)
I hit pan. Anyways I'm just taking that and buffing that into the skin
to set the powder and all the rest of the concealer and just kinda get a more
matte look over the face.
Ok, now we're focusing on the eyes. I'm using Two Faced Shadow Insurance.
This is just the regular kind.
I'm just taking a small sized amount and putting that all over the
eye lid just to insure that it stays all night. This is the
Physicians Formula Matte Collection in Quartz. I'm just taking a shader brush I got
from Claire's. I'm taking the
"my" flesh tone color and just using that as an all over color for my eye.
That's just gonna set a base for me. Next
I'm taking this Urban Decay shade. Kind of a
orangey color. As you can see here.
This shade is called Jones.
Ok, so I'm taking that same shader brush and I'm
gonna get a little bit on there. Make sure you tap out the excess and put
it just on the base of the lid as an all over color for the base
of the lid. Next I'm taking a
brush from the Real Technique line by Samantha Chapman.
I'm not sure which one this is called but I used this as blending.
I'm just takign that and using windshield wiper motions in the crease just
to blend out that color so you don't have quite a harsh line.
Next I'm taking a palette from Hot Topic that I got. It doesn't have a name but I'm using
the pink color. Again the same shader bursh, just make sure you wipe it off.
Just tap it in there and make sure you tap it out.
Putting that on the outer about 1/2 of the eye.
Putting a little bit up into the crease. So just keep layering that on there and
until you get the deisred effet you want. If you have a more
pigmented shade it might not take as long. I'm taking my Sephora Professional blending
brush and I'm just blending out into the crease and between the 2 colors so there's not a harsh
line between them. Just keep blending. Now
again I'm taking that same Physicians Formula palette. I'm taking that same "flesh"
color. Tap that out and I'm using that under my brow
cause I'm not doing anything too crazy to hightlight. Now I'm taking
my eyeliner from Physicians Formula. It's just a felt tip.
That's what it looks like and just gonna go ahead and line the eyes.
Thickness is up to you. If you want a big line or small
line. This one is starting to run out so it's not quite
black as it normally is.
Alright so I'm just doing more of a small line. Make sure that you tightline
your eyes so that you don't have any
flesh showing. Now I'm taking this Photoready 3D Volume
mascara. This is from Revlon.
There's the brush. Just plastic bristles and I'm just gonna take and put a few coats
of mascara on the eyes.
Make sure you use the tip to get the outer lashes and the inner lashes.
I'm just gonna let that dry and fix my lovely
mistake here. Again I'm going in for a seond coat.
I kinda like to have a little bit more dramatic lashes. You can just do one for natural look.
Get the tips.
The last for the eyes is the NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk. We're gonna take
that as an inner corner highlight. Just dab a little on the inner corner and blend that out
until you get the desired effect you want. So, there's the eye part of the look.
Now we're gonna work onto the rest of the face.
I'm taking the NYC Smooth Skin bronzer and this is in
Sunny 720A. I'm taking
another Real Techniques brush by Samantha Chapman. I think this is the
blush brush maybe. So just swirl that in. Tap that out.
Put that into where the hollows of your cheek would be and rub it up into the temple.
Down the nose, back to the temple, and then just sculpt out the chin and down the
neck. Ok now taking the ELF
blush. This is their powder blush and....
you can't see this it's too blurry. It's in Peachy Keen. Ah there we go.
Peachy Keen and see that's what
it looks like. It's a very natural color. So, I'm just taking
a, can't see this, it's an ELF brush. I believe it's called the
angeled bronzing brush. Just take some in there
and then put that right on the cheek and again rub that up into
the temples.
Last we'ere using the Sonia Kashuk
lipstick. Here's the color. This is in
Vivid Coral 90. It's a satin luxe finish.
I just got this and it's really pretty. That's what the color looks like.
Just make sure you put a chapstick
on before so that your're lips are nice and smooth. There's the
lip color. Very last thing we're putting on is this NYX
lipgloss. This is brush on lipgloss I got in a set. This is in
the color Taupe BG-126.
The color is just gonna add some shine
and mute out the vivid coral. So, there's your look!
Alright please comment below, subscribe, and like!
