2013 The North Face Khumbu Fleece Review by Skis

Hi, I'm Brigitte and this is Slope Style. I'm here with Alex from The North Face. We're here to talk about the Khumbu Jacket. This is a fleece, right? This is a fleece. This is a 300 weight fleece made out of our TKA fabric. TKA stands for Thermal Kinetic Advantage. Or as we like to say: Totally Kick ***. So, where would I wear this jacket? Well, Khumbu is great. You know, it's warm enough for those fall tailgates where it's maybe a little bit chilly but it also transitions really, really well to a layering piece underneath a shell. Because it's 300 weight fleece there's a lot of inherent warmth to this piece but it also makes it a great layering underneath the shell. Okay, what is the fit of this jacket? We carry it for men, women and kids. Yep, so it's a standard fit regardless of where it's purchased from. The mens fit on this one is going to be nice and roomy so it fits a lot of different body types well. The womens has a little bit of shaping to it so it's not going to be too roomy but also it's not going to be too slim. Okay and can you wear this jacket, can it zip into other? Yep, this is one of our zip-in compatible styles. We can zip this into a shell or you can just wear it stand alone for a lot of different activities. And what about colors? Does it come in a lot of colors? A lot of colors available in this, yep, definitely a lot of colors for both men, women and kids. From the look at the price it's a great value too.
