Hey Have you had such a nasty matte looking case
you've been considering carrying your instrument in a bag?
Well today we're giving it a good ol' spit shine!
*spits* Nope, with this!
I bought this recently but it has clearly seen better days.
So before buffing it it needs to be cleaned.
And pretty heavily at that, always always always, clean your cases.
You'll look like a more professional musician.
Using a rag and some light cleaning solution can work wonders.
For the heavy white scratch marks I find it best to just muscle them out instead of using
any other product though.
This will help so that later when you buff and the scratch comes out you don't get random
non-glossy looking lines.
So this is how it looks now that it's dry and clean.
Most of the scratch marks have come off.
So now let's give it a buff.
It doesn't matter which shoe shine you give it as long as it's the same color as the case.
It dries very quickly within minutes.
So the water had more of an effect on the case but the shoe shine did have that final
shimmer to give it, it looks way more presentable now and overall it's just a plain success.
SUCCESS!
