[Associate Professor Minette Drumwright] As someone who teaches ethics,
most of the examples you can find are examples of people who did things that were wrong.
but it is very difficult to find things that are either conceptual in nature
or that have positive teaching points,
and certainly the Ethics Unwrapped series does that.
I also think that the videos have tremendous use in classes that are not
focused on ethics.
For examples in my non-profit class we do not really have many readings
related to ethics. We just do not have time for that. But we do try
to talk about ethics and integrate it into the curriculum.
So using the video is a very efficient and effective way to introduce a complicated concept
quickly and simply, give some examples which students can relate to and
apply to their own lives as well as the cases we are reading and talking about.
