Hello. My name is John Asby. I'm the Middle School Director here at Crosspoint um as you can probably tell. The verse I want to share with you today is actually from the Psalms. Psalm 119 verse 68. It says," You are good and do only good." And the reason why that's my favorite verse, and probably the most impactfull verse I've ever read, is this; when I was searching for the Lord and wondering why everything was the way it was and how God could....there could be a good God that sent people to a place like hell and all those different things...I was wrestling with that and how so many bad things could happen in the world. And then all of the sudden, I heard this verse. And not that just hearing it alone is enough, but it was like the Spirit of God spoke and gave me this peace in that moment. That that was I needed to know. That was what I needed to trust in. There was no way I was going to understand everything, but I needed to know and trust that God is good and does only good! And it was in that moment that I decided I can't know everything, but I can trust. I can trust my God. And that was the moment I gave over my life to the Lord. So that is why it's my favorite verse!
