IV sedation is a wonderful way to be sedated for wisdom teeth. It's basically an IV line
that is placed into a vessel usually in your arm so we can rapidly deliver medication that
helps you sleep or be comfortable while your wisdom teeth are removed. This way to fall
asleep before we start and you're asleep through the entire process. When you wake up your
wisdom teeth have been removed and you're ready to go home and recover. We think that
IV sedation is the best way to be sedated for wisdom tooth removal.
