Places lay no aim without human assent It’s what the magic roots of faith shape While time densely extends in soul-treasured values There lies your grace, Your presence - an expression of life itself. I think poetry is freedom for me it’s really free. It’s beautiful, it’s a mixture of worlds I read your poem and I like, I like it because I think it’s authentic and a lot of passion...of the rhythm. I like the rhythm because I think it’s wow it’s like a song, like a sea. I really admire your work, your words, your poetry, your ideas, your thoughts. They really go deep and I learn a lot from reading what you write. You’re really creative and it comes from the heart; it’s really very honest and that’s what is really important because there is a magic there that you can’t learn in school. You either got it or you don’t got it. And you got it…so, as soon as you release your next stuff I hope to get it. I love to dance. And Cristina’s poetry to me is inspirational. Cristina’s work is unique…. words spoken from a very unique perspective. She has a gift for putting things in a beautiful way some things that need to be said that are difficult to say. She has an extraordinary way of putting those ideas into wonderful pictures that say much more Soar’s work awakens these feelings in my conscience, she speaks the love that I want to discover and to free from myself and my universe. The first time I saw her on stage I thought: wow, there is gonna be something. I am excited of what comes up there…. The most interesting moment was that moment of the vulnerability, in one hand, and this very strong and deep voice on the other hand. And that was like really really great in between… which really told stories a lot… Some people want it all, but I don't want nothing at all If it ain't you, baby, if I ain't got you, baby There is something about you: you are teaching us how to fall in love again beautiful imagination and I mean you’re such…. you’re indescribable…. you’re very descriptive in your writing… you’re very thoughtful and you’re very deep. (Play Improvisation) Why don’t you just talk about you know, levels of life… why does it have to be like a swaying river? She makes you dream about the idea of purity of water… that fights against the rocks, that reflects the sun and the stars and you feel breathing with nature. Try to read it from the river. To read it? Yes….with flow. Like the river? Soar is dynamic, it’s personal, it’s engaging. You feel you are part of that moving on-going action. It’s always a journey, not just a beginning. I think you have a very beautiful soul, very beautiful heart and you have so much love and passion to give and that’s how I felt with this work. I haven’t done improvisation dance for a little while so I want it to be the first one for you. She writes about the things that for her and for most people are essential to life, such as love, relationships, passion, beauty, the beauty of life, nature and the world around us. In essence her poetry is a celebration of the beauty of the human spirit. Thank you! Cristina is an amazing person, very dedicated to what it is that she does, talented; her writings are very inspirational and informative and I just wish you the best. "Life is not about the cake, rather about its recipe." I think this is the motto of Soar’s poetry. I remember her singing in a long white dress a very beautiful song and she did it better than it was done in the original. I think because she put all her soul to that song. I’ll never forget it. As a singer you’d assume that poetry comes somewhat second nature to me. But it doesn’t….and this is why I hold poets in general in such high regard. I mean the ability to convey your emotions, your thoughts, feelings, everything… you know, on paper, and express it and be able to reach another person on that level, on that same level, to have them understand and somewhat feel what you’re saying…you know, sometimes even spiritual, is absolutely amazing! Really, and Cristina’s work does exactly that. It’s quite impressive to me. Stay as you are!
