On behalf of Expert Village, my name is Dan Head. And today, we're going to talk about
how to self publish your own comic or graphic novel. Okay, so here we see a fully finished
graphic novel script. This is for my newest graphic novel. It is roughly a hundred and
twenty-five pages of sequential art. It prints out to about a hundred and fifty pages of
script when it's written out in prose. And, for me, I always put a table of contents.
And then, it breaks down into, you know, a page, then panel descriptions, and then dialog.
And again, here you can see page three breaks down with five panels, panel description,
and then dialog. The, the important thing to know about writing comic strips is that
as a writer, your job is essentially to control the pacing of the story, to control what the
story is about and the plot, and to control what the characters say. The dialog is very
important for a comic writer.
