>> When dressing up, we take more into account blogs from
celebrities, the way they dress, well a little… it helps you decide
how to dress a little differently.
>> I suppose so, because if… I mean you have to keep an eye
on what goes around the web, especially now. I guess they do
take into account the opinions of fashion blogs.
>>No, not bloggers, but competition. Competition is what makes the market
move. The market, if you don’t… if you take into
account a blogger but you don’t look at what are designing Yves
Saint Laurent, Gucci, Dolce & Gabbana or others, which
are the ones who make fashion and create trends like Chanel or so on,
it’s clearly useless.
>>Yes, for people who search for trends and so, blogs are a
reference to them, not to brands. For wearable clothing it helps; you can
get ideas on what is ‘in’, how you can use it, how you can mold it into your
wardrobe, and what it is that you can get that it’s more useful when going
shopping, or trends in itself. But more for everyday clothing.
>> What designers do a lot are runways, but then they also make collections
that are more wearable. But of course, it’s totally different, they are two totally
parallel worlds.
