Hi, I'm Peg from Sony and I'm here to show you how to take great
3D panoramic photos on your Sony digital camera.
For my demonstration I'm using the DSC-TX10
each camera is slightly different so be sure to check the owner's manual or
visit us at esupport.Sony.com for your specific features and menu options.
Before we get started make sure you exit easy mode.
To take a 3D panoramic photo
select the mode icon,
select 3D shooting
then 3D sweep panorama mode.
You are now ready to take a 3D panoramic photo.
This camera has four different directions for taking panoramic photos,
left to right,
right to left,
top moving down
and bottom moving up.
It is very important that you sweep in an arc and with a steady movement
keep your arms tight to your sides and pan the camera horizontally
at a consistent speed.
Press the shutter button and hold it down
moving in the direction of the arrows on the display.
The camera will show you where to go and when to stop.
Here is our beautiful panoramic photo.
Now let me give you some helpful tips and tricks for getting the best
3D image possible.
When taking a 3D sweep panorama photo you have a limited amount of time
to move the camera through the range you want to capture.
Yf you don't get to the end of the shooting range in time the remaining area
is recorded as gray.
If that happens pan the camera a little faster so that the arrow
can reach the end of the guidance bar within that given time.
It is important to know
that moving subjects, subjects that are too close to the camera
images such as the sky,
a sandy beach, a lawn or images with constant change such as waterfalls
or waves
are not the best subjects for 3D panoramic photos.
Also keep in mind that a 3D TV
and 3D glasses are required for viewing 3D panoramic photos
shot on the camera.
However,
the images will be played back as a normal panoramic photo on the camera.
