Hey guys, what's up? A lot of you always write in, "How do you shoot a DiGiTS episode?" So I'm here today to show you exactly how it works. Now the first thing you need to shoot a DiGiTS episode, is you need a beautiful woman. I mean, obviously, without that, what are we gonna do. Right behind this tree you can see there is a lovely lady sitting atop the hill. She's gonna be my first target. Second thing that you need is good equipment to capture the DiGiT attempt. As you can see I've got the mic pack in my pocket, and the wire just runs up my shirt, right here, I've got the mic taped in there, I don't know if you guys heard that or not. I gave it a little thump, you probably hear a BOOM BOOM. So we have an amazing crew, as you can see right here we've got Trevor, we got Will, this is our sound guy, and our videographer, or cinematographer, or D.P., or we could just call him, uh, camera op. Anyway, these guys are gonna capture all the magnificent magic that happens today. Fourth thing that we need is a challenge, because without a challenge I'd just be some guy trying to get some numbers, that's not really any fun, is it? So my challenge for today, I'm going to see if I can get some DiGiTs with a purse. I don't know how it's going to go, we got about the girliest purse that I could find, but I think it matches my glasses. Last thing we need for a good DiGiTs episode is an awesome hiding space. So guys, come with me, I've got the perfect place right up here. We're gonna tuck away in these bushes, yep that's good, that's good. So we're gonna sneak right in here, she doesn't see us, we can pick up all the sound, everything we've got from right here. I'm gonna dip around the tree, and, uh, see what I can do. [MUSIC INTRO] Ben: Hi. Girl: Hi. Ben: How are ya? Girl: Good. Ben: Good. I, I love this spot. Girl: Oh, you like this spot? Ben: Yeah, I totally, I love this spot. There's usually nobody up here. Girl: Oh, yeah, this is my spot. Ben: Oh, my gosh, oh wow. Girl: Yeah. Ben: That's funny. Do you come here a lot? Girl: Yeah, often. Ben: Oh, cause I come here pretty regularly too. Girl: I've never seen you here. Ben: I would've noticed you. Girl: Thanks. Ben: Definitely. Girl: Is that a bag you have? Ben: Oh yeah, that's my bag. It's comfortable. Girl: So is that like a murse, a man purse? Ben: Uh, I don't know, I've never been one for labels. You know what I mean, I just kind of [Fast forward] Girl: I'm a designer. Ben: Oh wow, what do you design, clothes? Girl: Yeah, clothing, women's. Ben: So nothing I could wear? Girl: Well you do wear a purse, so maybe... Ben: Funny. Girl: Maybe a dress. Ben: I don't. Do you like men in dresses? Girl: Not usually. Ben: Okay. Girl: But I don't usually like men with purses either. Ben: Okay, so you're saying, this is like, new things. Girl: Yeah I guess so. [inauible] Ben: So I walk, get settled, find my spot. I mean, you're spot. Girl: Yeah, my spot. Ben: I like to find your spot. Girl: Well now every time you go to this spot, you'll probably think of me. Ben: I will. So now, what will make you think of me? Girl: Uh, purses. Purses will make me think of you. Ben: That's good because you probably have other purses, right? Girl: Yeah. Ben: Do you have purses at home? Girl: Yeah. Ben: Where? Where do you keep them? Girl: My closet. Ben: But where's your closet? Girl: My room. Ben: But which room? Girl: I live in a studio. Ben: Oh! Girl: So it's one room. Ben: So your bed is there, so you're gonna be thinking about me when you're in your bedroom. Girl: Um, maybe in my closet. Ben: Right. Girl: My bed is over here, my closet is over here. Ben: Don't think of me in the closet! It's not where I am. Girl: So you're not in the closet? Ben: No. Girl: Do you wear make-up to? Ben: No, no, I was just checking to see how much sun I've got today. Girl: But that's powder. Ben: It came with the mirror. Girl: I have a mirror without the powder, we could trade and I'd use the powder. Ben: Are you offering? Girl: I don't know if I have the mirror. What else do you have in that bag? Ben: Well, you know, I mean, um. Girl: Wait a second, hold on... Ben: What? Girl: Can you just pull that out again? Ben: This? Girl: Look, we have the same one! Ben: What! That is crazy! What are you doing with that? Girl: What are you doing with that? Ben: What do you mean, "What am I doing with that?" Why do you have it? Girl: Why do you have it? Where do you put that? Ben: I don't actually know what this is? Girl: You don't know what that is? Ben: No, I got this at a second hand shop. Girl: And it came with the ***? Ben: Is that a ***? Girl: That is a ***. Ben: Oh what the ***, I! No wonder you think it's weird. Would you like it? Girl: No it's okay. Ben: I just mean, I don't need it. Girl: Whatever you do with that is your business. Ben: Just so you know, I'd throw it into the woods, but I don't litter. I'm getting rid of it as soon as we--all that I really wanted out of the bag was my phone, so that I could get your website and maybe your number. Girl: Oh, but you get lost? Ben: You asked me what was in there, but if you just want to tell me. Girl: I'll give you my website. Ben: Okay. Wait a minute, I'm going to make a new memo. What's your name? Girl: Ashley. Ben: Nice to meet you. Girl: Nice to meet you. Ben: So guys, always important to get a wrap up near the end of your video, the one personal touch I like to add, something like a prop to help kind of book-end it. So if you notice, I started the video off with the sunglasses on, took 'em off the move in, now I'm gonna put 'em back on to finish up. We didn't get any DiGiTs, but we did get a website, allegedly as a contact page, and I've been told that I alone can use for her sole purpose. I had to do a little back-peddling and explain the purse, and that was just part of the challenge for today. But, uh, I thought it was a good time, we've given you clear cut directions on how to film a DiGiTs episode. So what I'd like is for you guys to film your own DiGiTs episode, remember, keep it nice, keep it, you know, fairly clean, keep it safe, all that stuff, shoot a DiGiTs episode and send it in.
