Have you felt worried here..? They just want us to go out. It's very "hostile" I get it. Welcome to Afghanistan. You jump in there.. Loreen Talhaoui is also here. She wants to help build a school in a small mountain village In Kabul she lives in the protected area , but now we'll go to a restuarant. So now you are on "holiday" Yes, you could say that. You did not hesitate to come here because of safety? No, i did not. It's not that "hostile" in Morocco, from where i am from. But poverty and this type of environment, I am not used to this .. and to Islam. I can speak the language. I come from a Muslim liberal home. There are common features.. You use it to build ties. Here we are. I had a need to be more active. Besides being an ambassador, I wanted to be physically active in what I do. Now I'm here and checking for school construction. I wanted to propagate - to be more active as an individual. It's a good balance, given that I'm an artist. You get and then you give . You give and then you get. I'm just speaking from my own perspective. I feel I have to give , because I also get. There is a balance. I think that people have narrow view of Afghanistan - only misery and war. People had almost given up on this country, because it has been too much for them. For me, it's important that we do not leave this land as their system needs help more than ever. I: To help others..in what way is that important? You'll be much richer, here and here. If it is very ego-based, then you'll not be as rich. If you're investing and focusing on someone else, you'll feel much better. You learn a lot about yourself and your environment. And we need this. It is a win-win situation. It's true, it is a win-win.
