How to Arm & Disarm Your Bosch Alarm System in The Away Mode

Hello this is Mitchell, and today I will be showing you on how to arm and disarm your Bosch Alarm System 880 Ultima and Solution 16 alarm system in the AWAY Mode. The AWAY Mode is used when the user is leaving the home and wants the interior protected including all the motion sensors. We start off by making sure all the doors and windows are closed. If the OFF light is flashing, that means that a zone is faulted. Check in the display on what zone is open. Once all zones are closed, none of the numbers will appear and the OFF indicator will remain on. There are 3 different methods on arming the system in the AWAY Mode and I will be showing you all three of them. The first one is entering your User Code then the AWAY key. All you need to do is enter your 4 digit code, then AWAY. It arms it in the AWAY Mode and exit time starts counting. To disarm it when you come home, enter your code again. Then the system is disarmed. Method Number 2 is pressing 0, Hash. So that means if you want to quick arm the system in the AWAY mode without needing your user code. You always need your user code to disarm the alarm system. You press 0, AWAY. Exit time starts counting as normal, like I showed you. The 3rd Method is holding down the AWAY key for 2 seconds and then the arming AWAY indicator will appear up there. To arm it using the holding down procedure, press and hold it for 3 seconds. Nothing happens because my one not enabled with that. Sorry about that but I can tell you that it actually works with other Bosch Alarm Systems that are enabled.
