So now we're going to take a look at our first two measures and again, you search for E minor,
you'll get an E minor chord for jazz piano in C major, and our melody line here starts
on D, so here's D, one, two, three, four, five, six. So we have six, natural seven,
one, seven, six, five, six, five, three. And this is an eighth rest here in the beginning,
which gets an eighth note, so it's boom, and... and again, a lot of the melodies you're going
to reading, you've probably heard of on records, or you should go and buy some records that
go with it, and it will really help making your playing a lot more enjoyable. So we'll
start here, we have six, so again that's six, if you look at my fingers, natural seven,
six, five, six, five, three, and that's your first two measures.
