Scott Gorham Talks Black Star Riders

The Black Star Riders guitarist talks us through recording the new album.

It was taking our live set up and plonking it straight into the studio because we knew this was going to be *** *** *** quick right, this is a system we all knew. There wasn't going to be anytime to sit there and try to dial in the guitar sounds or do rig tweaking on the snare drums it had to be straight in and get the business done. It was the only way that we knew how to do this was to take the live set up and nail it down in the studio and go baby. Is there an authentic sound? I don't know, really I just plug it in, turn it up and go you know, I don't think about my sound, if it's just pleasing to me I guess that's just my sound.
