Hi everybody. Today is January 16th 2014
The jet stream is totally messed up. Our weather has changed.
Today here in South Dakota we have no travel advisory because of blizzards.
I think last night it was 17 below zero. All in California
because a this jet stream they're having a heat wave of
possibly 90 degrees today. A ridge high-pressure air
along West Coast that is causing much of the heat still refuses to budge.
Warm air continues to flow from the mountains towards the ocean
the national weather service said. Now I'm sure you have been watching the fires they have been
having
The red flag fire warning remains in effect until 6 p.m.
The Weather Service also has added a beach hazard statement for areas north
of Newport Beach with surf expected to be
as high as six-feet I'm sure this can be a lot of surfers out there but you know
you have to watch out for that
undertow. Thursday looks at me with a high as a eighty-five to 90 degrees
81 degrees on the coast. Winds could gust to 35 miles an hour
Friday be sunny about eighty three to eighty eight degrees inland
77 along the coast with winds dialing back to about 25 miles per hour in the
morning
this weekend's it's going to be 79 to 84 degrees inland
and then on Monday Martin Luther King Day skies should be mostly sunny with
highs of
79 to 84 inland and 73 along the coast
heat wave in Southern California and we have Blizzard warnings here
in South Dakota talk about extreme weather,
