Bam: So now we're going to teach you varial flips, which is one of my favorite tricks
to do. A varial heelflip, and/or varial kickflip. So, with the varial heel, you put your foot
hanging off the middle like this.
Kerry: Like in a heel-foot position.
Bam: Yeah, so when you do an Ollie your board goes like that, and then you catch it, and
kickflip same thing, but your foot's on this side.
Kerry: And the key to both of these tricks is definitely using your toe again and doing
the scoop like the 360 flip. So you want to get the scoop with the back, and then do your
heelflip. The scoop with your toe is gonna give you that shove-it of the board. That's
usually the key in a lot of those tricks with the shove-its is your back foot.
Bam: Make sure you do your shove-it of the board.
So there's your variations of varial flips.
