Lighting Your Man Cave

A flashlight is perfectly adequate for lighting a cave. But a man cave requires something a little more sophisticated. I'm Chris from Batteries Plus Bulbs. Let's talk about the right way to light a room, dedicated to watching TV or playing video games. Watching TV in a darkened room can leave your eyes tired and bloodshot. Biased lighting, where you place light sources behind the TV and either side can make for a more pleasant watching experience. Even lamps set close to the TV can help. You'll want to use light bulbs that are as color neutral as possible. We suggest dimmable LED A-19 lights in 2700k to achieve just the right amount of light. For overhead lights, we recommend soft white dimmable LED bulbs. Not all LEDs are dimmable.
