My team reviewed all the major discount stock brokers and came up with a bunch of criterias to see if one is better than others and so we'll talk about all that right now. So basically what happened was my team would phone discount broker and they pretended to be an experienced investor. They phoned back later under a different cover and acted basically were clear about that they were calling from PeterLeeds.com and wanted to talk to them in that fashion. They also did the same thing with emails where they email pretending to be a new investor asking questions and then the email began from PeterLeeds.com to get certain comments on certain aspects of the business. We also reviewed the policies and procedures my team looked at how good their online tools were, what their commission rates were, how much money you needed to open an account. All this kind of stuff and then they came up with a review for a ranking of which brokers were better than others. You know each person is different so which broker is best for you will depend on your own investment needs so for example if you have $50,000 to invest you probably don't care if the minimum to open account is pretty hefty if you need a thousand dollars to open an account, but you have $50,000 you'll be fine. However if you have a lower amount to invest and you also then maybe want to pay less commissions per trade that sort of thing. So each person's going to be different, you're going to have to decide for you which would be the best broker based on your needs. What we did was we came up with a list of how each broker ranked in terms of each concept or criteria. It's available at PeterLeeds.com in the infographic section and it will tell you ; these brokers here's what their minimum is for opening an account, here's how much they charge you per trade, that sort of thing. A lot of brokers one of the things we look at specifically because we are penny stock investors first and foremost we looked at their policies and procedures surrounding lower priced investments. Some brokers do not allow for trades in penny stocks. Other brokers will charge you an additional commission on top of their usual fee for penny stock trades. While others still wont treat it any differently whether the stock is a $0.10 stock or a $10.00 stock. So we put all that into the report and at the end of the day you know there's some of these brokers are very good at getting back to you more helpful for a newer investor or they explain things better. Other ones we would email and they never even reply to us or if they did it was days later. So that might matter to someone who wants to have somebody as a broker's going to sort of walk them through the process but it may not matter as much for a more experienced investor.
