Hi this is Jenny with simple beautiful crafts on behalf of expertvillage.com. I like to
show you how to turn ordinary objects in to shadow boxes. As you know a shadow box is
a deep frame design to hold mementos, collectibles, and other things. It has a removable back
you can buy it in a craft store or a frame shop but they usually run about $20. I like
to show you some things that I found every single thing that I found cost $10 or less
and we are going to turn all of this ordinary everyday objects into shadow boxes. Here we
have a basket that got a foam in it for putting in picks for artificial flowers and some moss
that is going to become a shadow box. We have a nice deep basket came from Big Lots for
only $5 we are going to turn this into a shadow box. We are also going to use this wicker
and wire basket that would become a shadow box. I'm very excited to make a shadow box
out of this beautiful white basket with yellow fabric. Also I have a copper wire basket that
is going to become a shadow box. This red tin tray is going to be a great shadow box.
I can't hardly wait to show you that one. This is just a ordinary board divider that
you use in the kitchen but it is going to be a dynamic shadow box for the kitchen. This
is to hold your CDs this is going to be a great shadow box. In matter of fact we are
going to turn this into three different kinds of shadow boxes. I'm also very excited about
this cutlery This was a 7.99 picture that was on clearance for $4 I don't care for the
picture but it is going to become a shadow box. This is just the beginning you can let
your imagination run wild and find everyday objects and items that you to can turn into
beautiful shadow boxes.
