Hair Braiding Styles - Hanging in vs. hanging out hair braids

What I am going to show you know is the difference between an in and an out. So were going to take out three pieces. Make sure there good and separated and were going to over just as before. Just keep going over and make sure we collect all that hair and as you can see with the in braid its rather difficult because you do have to constantly just really you have to pick up your hand away from your other hand just a little bit further. To get it out and to get to go down. You just braid all the way down going over the middle on the in braid and for the out braid which is my personal favorite. We go under. And for me this is easier hand positioning because I really don't move I can just move my fingers with out having to move my hands to much. I get my three pieces and I prop this up with my thumb and I just go under and you will see my fingers are really helping guide the hair around these middle pieces. To help it go backwards to help the hair go out and around. That?s why it?s called the out braid and the other one is called a in because they face forward and in towards the middle. Now that we have these two braids we can compare side to side how they look. The out braid has the hair going in outwards directions as the in has it facing inwards. When it comes to a hanging braid this is more common but in any type of French braid or stylized braid to the scalp this is the way that the work generally because it is easier on the hands and a little bit faster to do.
