To The Beach - Mac haul

Hey, everyone! So I'm at the beach right now and the weather is awful. It's been raining all day and it's supposed to rain all week which is really, really bad luck on my family's part. So I might be filming a lot this week like I am today because I have nothing better to do today so I was like well I'll just film a MAC call. So that's what I'm doing. So if my lighting is a little really weird, I know it's kind of washing me out we'll just see how it goes. We'll see how video turns out. But I want to do a whole video on the MAC To The Beach collection which came out May 27, I think, right after my birthday. And I got quite a few things. I've been looking forward to this collection forever. It's so beachy. It's so pretty. Everything is corally and you'll see. So the first thing I got is the MAC nail lacquer in Scorcher and it's a cream. It's bright. I have it on my nails right now. And it's a really bright corally orange color. It's kind of close to red and I typically don't go this bright or deep on my nails. I like to do pale colors and every now and then I'll do something crazy like lavender. But I rarely go bright, but I think that this color is great. I've had really mixed feelings on MAC's nail polishes in the past. I've gotten some that are great. And then I've gotten some that are really, really bad quality. They're really thick or they're really runny and they're just not easy to put on. This one was amazing. It was so easy to put on. If all MAC nail polishes were this quality I would buy all MAC polishes over OPI. This is amazing. So if you like this color I definitely recommend the quality of this polish. So then I got three lip products. The first one is a lipstick and this is called Beachbound. And it looks really light, but it is a crazy pretty light coral. And I have it on my lips right now, but you can't really tell because of the lighting. I'll swatch it. It's right there if you can see it. Normally, I go more for pinks than corals, but I wanted to try corals because I think they're really beachy looking. And I really liked that one because it was very tame. And then I got two glosses. I got Flurry of Fun which is like an orange coral. It's much lighter than it's coming out on camera. I'll put a little swatch of this. It's right there next to the lipstick. And then I got Easy Lounger which is a pink. It's a light pink. I think it's really pretty. Right now, I have on the lipstick and then I have on the orange gloss and then I have on the pink gloss because I was trying them all on. So not that you can even tell. I can't tell on my camera right now any colors so hopefully you guys can and if you can't I apologize. But at least you guys know what I've picked up from this collection. So next, I got one eye shadow. And I think the packaging is so pretty. It has a little seashell on it. How cute! And I got the color Firecracker. And it's a really gorgeous coral pink. Look how pretty that is. That is gorgeous. So next, I tried to Lustre Drops. And MAC has had this, I don't know if it's in the permanent line, but I know that they've had it out multiple, multiple times. And I got the pink one. It's called Pink Rebel. I've not heard very many good reviews on these drop, but I wanted to try it because they sound like a really good idea. And I am a sucker for things like that. So I'll show you what do you. You just put a little bit, I mean, this is what I do. I might not be doing it right. And then it's kind of like a shimmery pink. And then I kind of put it like on the cheekbones just to give me shimmer. To tell you the truth I can't even tell the difference when I put this on. I don't know if I'm a huge fan of this, but I really do like Pearl Cream color base for your highlight right there. I think that's really pretty. So I don't know maybe, is there something else I can do with this? Or is it really just a failed product. Next, this is like my favorite thing from the whole collection and I was really excited I could get my hands one. It's the Marine Life highlighting powder. And this is what it looks like. Isn't it so pretty? It has a little seahorse and it has coral and pink and gold altogether. That's gorgeous. So I totally just messed it up, but that's kind of what it looks like. But it's just gorgeous, like for summer it's so corally and pink. And I love these things from MAC, like the MSF's colors like Petticoat is my favorite. So oh my gosh, I thought I wasn't recording for a second. I do not so much I was going to like die. So you can use it as blush. You can use it as a highlight. I mean, you can do all sorts of things. You can put it on your shoulders. But I really like it just as blush. It's really shimmery. So if you don't like shimmer it's definitely shimmery. But I put like my regular blush on and then I put just a tad of this right on the apples and it just kind of is like a pop up color. It's really pretty and it's very shimmery and beachy and I love it. So the next thing I got was the To The Beach bronze body oil. This stuff looks so pretty. Look! It's glittery. Look how glittery! Oh my gosh, I love it! I love it! So I bought this basically because it was really pretty. So I'm going to show by example. You put a little bit on, squirt. Oh, that looks like really gross. And then you rub it in. And it makes you really shimmery. Can you tell? Well, I can tell. And it kind of gives you just a bronze glow and makes you really shimmery. So especially if you're at the beach which is because that's what this collection is for and I'm at the beach so I'm like living all this stuff. Or even if you're just going at night and you just want to look shimmery. For your shoulders, your legs, you can do it on your arms. Your arms might be a little bit much. Yeah, your decolletage like this area. Just make it like really shimmery and bronzy and it's gorgeous. So I really do like the stuff. It doesn't really have a scent. I thought it maybe did but it doesn't, so if you were wondering. I got the Float On By eyeliner. Is this an eyeliner? Yeah, it's an eye coal. And this is what looks like. It's bright turquoise. And I have it underneath my eyes right now. And it goes on really pretty. See how it's kind of the blue green. It's a gorgeous color. I love it! I like the packaging how it has look all these little seaweed looking things. So let's see, I'm not left handed so this is hard. This is what it looks like. OK and then I got one lip liner called Life's A Breeze and it's a really pretty pink. Every thing is a really pretty something. It has the same seaweed design. This is what it looks like. And I'll do a little swatchy swatch with my left hand, again. It's like a bright pink. I thought it'd be pretty. It looks like a mat baby doll pink in the stick. But it goes on kind of brighter like a Barbie pink when you put it on. So I thought that would be pretty with a gloss, with the pink gloss, the Easy Lounger. And then last thing, this is not from the To The Beach collection but I wanted to try it. And to be quite honest, I am not a fan of MAC's mascaras. I've not found one that I like. I don't know if this is new but I'd never tried it before and it's called Opulash. And so I figured I haven't tried this line. And MAC mascaras are really cheap and I always want to find one that I like because they're inexpensive. So this is what the container looks like. It looks different than all the other MAC ones I've ever tried. And this is what the brush looks like. It's huge. It kind of looks like Badgal lash, the brush. So I haven't tried it yet. I will do a mini review on it just because I'm kind of interested to try it. So if any of you guys have any thoughts on that mascara, leave a comment below. I don't know if it's going to be any good but I will let you guys know. And yeah so that was my To The Beach whole collection. Eww. I just put my hand down and I got all of this swatchy stuff on my leg. So I hope this was enjoyable for you guys.
